Grand Island, NY - Voter Registration

If you are a Grand Island resident, who is entitled to vote, you must also be a registered voter in New York State in order to vote in the Town Elections on November 3^rd 2009. Registering to vote is simple:

• Download A New York State Voter Registration Form

• Complete the form with Your information.
  You may either print the blank form directly and then write your information in by pen, or you can use Adobe to complete the form electronically using your computer and then print the completed form.
• Send the form to:
  Erie County Board of Elections
  134 W. Eagle Street
  Buffalo, NY 14202
  Note: The absolute deadline for sending this form is October 9th 2009, however, it is suggested that you mail your form no later than October 5th to insure that your registration will be processed!

Grand Island, NY - Absentee Ballots

If you are a Grand Island resident who is registered to vote, but you expect to be away from home during the Town Elections on November 3^rd 2009 You Can Still Vote! - but you must complete an Absentee Ballot. This is a 2-Step process:

STEP 1: Request Your Absentee Ballot Form

• Download A New York State Absentee Ballot Request Form (55KB PDF format)
• Complete the form with Your information.
  You may either print the blank form directly and then write your information in by pen, or you can use Adobe to complete the form electronically using your computer, and then print the completed form.
• Send your completed request form to:
  Erie County Board of Elections
  134 W. Eagle Street
  Buffalo, NY 14202
  Note: The absolute deadline for sending this form is October 26th 2009, however, it is suggested that you mail your form no later than October 19th to insure that your request will be processed!

STEP 2: You will be sent an Absentee Ballot Form Which Must Be Completed and Mailed to Erie County Board of Elections, Postmarked No Later Than November 2nd, and Received No Later Than November 9th.
